News of Charlie Kirk’s death came as a shock.
I would never have believed yesterday that he wouldn’t be here today. I didn’t know the man personally, but his authenticity and openness around any topic was inspiring.
Charlie Kirk, born 14th October 1993, was the founder and CEO of Turning Point USA, a not-for-profit organisation set up to advocate for conservative politics (with principles of fiscal responsibility, free markets, and limited government) at high schools and universities, with the company’s values based around patriotism, respect for life, liberty, and family.
As a family man himself, Charlie Kirk was married and had children. His wife Erika Frantzve, born 20th November 1988, is a former Miss Arizona USA winner and has two children to Kirk, who came across as a loving husband and father.
He was also an American right-wing activist, top podcaster, media personality and more.
He was shot and killed on a regular American university campus (Utah Valley University) while participating in an event where he was hosting a Prove Me Wrong session. Reports of the alleged killer having already been caught are coming out, while simultaneously, other media reports are saying that the suspect is on the run. Either way, there needs to be a full investigation into the Incident, and we will post any further details that come to light.
The impacts of this tragedy will no doubt have ripple on effects through the media, politics and society in general.
